Chicago, Ill. -The UIC men's tennis team saw its 13-match losing streak come to an end on Friday with a 4-3 triumph over Youngstown State.
Nick Bodmer (7-6, 6-3/No. 1), Jason Kerr (6-4, 6-3/No. 3), Bill Schmidt (5-7, 6-2, 6-2/No. 5) and Vijay Krishamoorthy (6-2, 6-2/No. 6) all tabbed singles wins over the Penguins, giving UIC the four points it needed.
Earlier in the day, the Flames fell 7-0 to Robert Morris.
UIC has its home finale on Tuesday, April 18, as they welcome Valparaiso to the outdoor tennis courts at 3:00 p.m.
