Chicago, Ill. - UIC men's gymnastics coach CJ Johnson has announced that he has signed Kenny Gesiakowski (Carol Stream, Ill./Glenbard North) and Keith Kerrigan (Naples, Fla./St. John Neumann) to National Letters of Intent for the 2002 season.

Gesiakowski, captured the 2000 IHSA All-Around and horizontal bar championship for Glenbard North. He also competes for the Midwest Gymnastics Academy coached by Kevin Chope.

Johnson figures that Gesiakowski, a member of the Region 5 National Team, will step right in and compete primarily on the pommel horse along with the other events. He also believes that Kerrigan will contribute on the floor exercise and vault events next season.
