West Point, N.Y. - Just nine days earlier the same two teams met in Chicago and the UIC men's gymnastics team was looking for a different outcome.
It was not meant to be, however, as Army defeated the Flames, 210.65-205.7, on Tuesday evening for the second time in the short span, as the Black Knights edged UIC, 208.3-208.05, back on March 9.
Army was led by the all-around effort of Dustin Greenhill who edged UIC's Neil Faustino in that department, 52.1-52.0.
Faustino won the vault title with a 9.4 effort, while Matt Musielak added a pair of wins, tying for the floor title (9.1) and taking the parallel bars competition outright (9.0).
The Flames continue their road trip on Saturday, March 22, as they face Temple and Navy in Philadelphia at 2:00 p.m.
