Valparaiso, Ind.- The UIC men's and women's swimming and diving teams won 20 of 26 events to earn convincing dual meet wins over host Valparaiso on Saturday.
UIC posted a 141-62 win on the men's side, while the Flames earned a 143-96 team victory in the women's dual meet standings.
Swimmers Kelly Hyatt, Andrea Giczewski, Shaina Israel and Dominic Barraco each earned two individual event wins. Divers Ryan Fitzer and Sarah Economides picked up two victories on the boards.
Blake Booher, Jason Dews, Mike Hare, Andy Peterson and Davor Trnovljakovic also swam first-place times to contribute to UIC's overwhelming effort.
The UIC swimming and diving teams host Horizon League rival Cleveland State at the UIC Natatorium on February 3rd at 1:00 p.m.
