MILWAUKEE - The UIC men's tennis team fell to Big East rival Marquette on the road Saturday morning, falling to the Golden Eagles, 7-0.
The Flames failed to pick up a single set against the competition, which marked the second-straight Big East team the squad has lost to in consecutive weeks after being defeated by DePaul in the season opener last week.
Newcomer George Hudson made his Flames debut in Milwaukee, playing at No. 1 doubles and the fourth singles position. Hudson, pairing up with Bastian Harbo, fell to the Marquette doubles team of Stephen Shao and Dusan Medan in an 8-7 match.
UIC will now prepare for their first win of the season at home against IUPUI on Friday, Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hinsdale Racquet Club.
