CHICAGO - The UIC men's tennis team closed out Horizon League dual match play on Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 victory over Green Bay at Flames Courts on Senior Day.
Outgoing Flames Adriano Liccardo, Danny Wilson and Tim O'Brien were honored prior to the start of the match, and did not disappoint as UIC (12-7, 6-1) dominated from the get-go.
After claiming the doubles point with a trio of victories, UIC took all six singles matches, with five going in straight sets in the Flames favor.
With the win, the Flames clinch the second seed in next weekend's Horizon League championships.
UIC closes out the regular season with a visit from Olivet Nazarene on Monday at 3 p.m.
