Student Ticket Deals for Illinois Game Announced

Nov. 8, 2010

CHICAGO - The UIC athletic department is offering an array of opportunities for students to take advantage of discounted and even free tickets to the basketball doubleheader between the Flames and Illinois Fighting Illini at the United Center on December 18.

The first of those opportunities will take place next Monday (Nov. 15) at the men's basketball home opener against Roosevelt. Students in attendance with a valid I-card can sign-up near the "Ring of Fire" table, and be entered into a lottery. From there, 200 students will be randomly selected to have the opportunity of purchasing one $15 ticket in the UIC student section, a regularly priced $80 seat. On Nov. 16, those 200 lucky students will be contacted via e-mail, and then be required to purchase their tickets by no later than Nov. 19 at noon.

Additionally, students that attend the first four men's basketball home games (Nov. 15 vs. Roosevelt, Nov. 24 vs. Central Michigan, Nov. 28 vs. Toledo and Dec. 2 vs. Valparaiso), and present all four ticket stubs to the UIC Athletic Ticket Office on Friday, Dec. 3, will be entered into the Chancellor's raffle to receive FREE UIC-Illinois tickets. The raffle's 25 winners will be chosen at the Valpo game, the Horizon League opener for both teams.
