Three Flames Continue Competition At NCAAs

NORMAN, Okla. - Three members of the UIC men's gymnastics team continues NCAA competition Friday as Dan Zerbel, Lukasz Adamcyk and Brett Valin have qualified for the second session inside the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla.

Zerbel qualified on the floor exercise and parallel bars. On the floor, Zerbel finished sixth overall among competitors with a 15.050 score, while tying for 11th place with a 14.300 score. Adamczyk won a tie-breaker to advance on the pommel horse with a 14.750. Valin, the Flames final qualifier posted a 14.800 on vault and finished 11th overall.

Zerbel, Adamczyk and Valin continue competition Friday inside the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla.
