Men's Gymnastics To Face Air Force

CHICAGO- Coming off of a meet where the UIC men's gymnastics team achieved its highest score of the season, the Flames prepare to compete twice against Air Force over the course of three days. The Flames travel to Colorado Springs, Colo., with their first meet Friday at 8 p.m. (CT) and closing the weekend out Sunday at 2 p.m. Both meets will take place at the Cadet Field House.

UIC returns after producing its highest score of the season (409.900) against No. 8 Minnesota on Sunday, Feb. 23. The Flames captured two first-place finishes on the day.

Lukasz Adamczyk dominated on pommel horse with a final score of 14.650. Jason Gaides proved to be best on vault with his score of 14.550.

Gaides took second in all-around with a score of 83.950. Joseph Hodges (80.950) and Christopher Root (79.650) placed third and fourth, respectively, in all-around.

The Flames competed against Air Force on Feb. 15 in a tri-meet with Temple. The Falcons took first-place honors with a final score of 424.550, with UIC taking second (403.550) and Temple finishing third (402.500).
