UIC v Elmhurst Results 
ELMHURST, Ill. - The UIC men's tennis team (4-6) took on Elmhurst College (2-3) Friday evening and collected its fourth win of the season. The Flames defeated the Blue Jays, 7-0, inside Courts Plus.
In the No.1 singles spot, Carl Hedstrom defeated Chris Harrison, 6-3, 6-2. UIC's Christopher Cole downed Quinn Jennings in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 2 position. Meanwhile, freshman Andy Page won straight sets against Alex Abbuhl, 6-4, 6-3, at No. 3.
Mitch Granger was in No. 4 for the Flames and held strong against Kyle Endicott winning in two straight, 6-1, 6-0. Freshman Marcelo Dib downed his opponent, Justin Delawder, at the No. 5 spot, 6-0, 6-0, while Nate Campanile wrapped up singles for the Flames with a solid victory of, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 4.
In doubles play, Granger and Cole teamed up in the No. 1 position and ultimately defeated Harrison and Jennings, 6-2; Granger and Cole followed suit in the No. 3 spot downing their opponents 6-2 as well.
Max Cederkall and Dib fought a hard battle against Elmhurst's Abbhul and Ricardo Franco at No. 3, and finally stopped the duo with a 6-4 final.
The Flames prepare to host IUPUI Saturday evening (March 5) at 6 p.m. CT at the Hinsdale racquet Club, the indoor home for the Flames.
