The rest of UIC is on spring break, but the Flames' men's tennis team is still hard at work.  The squad will face Western Michigan Tuesday afternoon in a brief break from Horizon League play.  The match will start at 2:30 in Kalamazoo.

• The Flames' doubles teams have seen some shifting in recent matches, but the lineup returned to its most successful iteration in the team's last match on Sunday.
• Marcelo Dib and Niko Wasilewicz have been the team's #1 pair in every match but one this season.
• Johan Hedstrom and William Wale were reunited on court 2, where they have three wins.
• Marco Nanni and Kailash Panchapakesan are the most frequent of four pairs who have played at #3.

• Hedstrom leads the squad with four singles wins.  Three of them have come in the #2 flight, which is the most of any Flame in a single flight.
• Nanni has singles wins in each of the three aforementioned non-conference victories.  He lost only three games in his six winning sets over those three matches.
• Every Flame with more than one singles match played has at least one victory.

• The Flames fell to Detroit Mercy, 7-0, on Sunday evening.
• Several tiebreakers could potentially have given the Flames points, but all ended in favor of the Titans.
• Dib and Wasilewicz led their #1 doubles set, 5-1, when they were pulled off the court.
• Hedstrom lost his #2 match in a tiebreaker, 6-7, 6-4, 8-10.
