UIC's men's tennis team will conclude its three match homestand Saturday afternoon against IUPUI.  It will be the first meeting between the teams as Horizon League foes.  Originally scheduled for Flames Outdoor Tennis Courts, the match will take place at XS Tennis Village due to near-freezing temperatures forecasted for Chicago over the weekend.

• Johan Hedstrom and William Wale are the reigning Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week.
• The pair won both of their sets in the Flames' 2-0 weekend against Wright State and Northern Kentucky last Friday and Saturday.
• Hedstrom and Wale are tied with Marcelo Dib and Niko Wasilewicz for the team lead with five doubles wins apiece.
• The Flames have at least five wins in each of the three doubles flights this season.

• Dib ended a five match singles losing streak with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Northern Kentucky.
• Nanni was one of three Flames to win two singles matches last weekend, and is 5-4 over his last nine matches.

• After dropping their first Horizon League match of the season, the Flames now stand at 2-1 in conference play.
• No team has more wins than the Flames, who are tied for second behind 2-0 Cleveland State.
• Wale is one of two league players who is undefeated in the #6 singles flight.
• Panchapakesan and Nanni are each tied for third in the singles standings at #5 and #4 respectively.

• The Flames followed a 5-2 win over Wright State with a 6-1 victory over Northern Kentucky.
• The Flames won the doubles point, 2-0, and swept the first four singles matches to conclude in straight sets.
• UIC went up 6-0 with a tiebreaker win by Panchapakesan, but NKU salvaged a point with a win on the #2 singles court.

Scouting IUPUI

• IUPUI lost to Wright State and beat Northern Kentucky last weekend to move to 1-2 in the Horizon League and 7-12 overall.
• Ethan Mardanus-Budiono and Bradley Luetschwager are tied for the team lead with 10 singles wins each.  Luetschwager has five wins in two different flights.
• Luetschwager and Grant Weaver have had the most success of IUPUI's six #1 doubles teams.  Mardanus-Budiono and Jac Newis have five wins at #2 doubles, and David Beasley and Grant Esposito are 4-1 at #3.
• The Jaguars will play Butler Friday night before heading to Chicago.
