UIC Announces Continued Partnership with Adidas

CHICAGO – UIC and adidas today (July 13) announced a new multi-year partnership in which the Portland, Ore., based company will continue to serve as the official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand of the Flames.
 
"Everyone at UIC is excited to continue our longstanding partnership with adidas, a true giant in the apparel and footwear industry," said UIC Director of Athletics Garrett Klassy. "When we sat down to evaluate the evolving needs of our student-athletes, coaches and staff, as well as our growing desire to be an innovator in collegiate athletics, it became increasingly clear to us that an agreement with adidas was the best way for everyone to move forward. All of us associated with the Flames will be positively impacted by the strengthened relationship between a world-class institution, UIC, and a globally recognized brand, adidas."
 
With the new 5-year all-school deal, adidas will supply the Flames' men's and women's sports programs with uniforms, footwear, apparel, headwear, equipment, and accessories for all teams through the 2022-23 season.

"We believe that sport has the power to change lives and this new partnership provides us an opportunity to collaborate with UIC Athletics and help them execute their mission to enrich the lives of student-athletes, provide opportunities for physical, intellectual and social growth, and to win conference championships."
