Flames to Watch
Last Time Out
- The Flames fell to Toledo on Saturday in a 4-0 decision.
- Though the Rockets clinched the match early, the Flames competed well, especially in matches that did not get a chance to conclude.
- Panchapakesan and Nguyen were deadlocked in their doubles set when pulled off the court.
- Hedstrom got within a game of winning his singles match.
Scouting the Wolves
- Cardinal Stritch is 0-3 on the season. Their last match was a loss to Horizon League member Green Bay.
- A distinct international presence flavors the Stritch roster. Three Ecuadorians, along with players from Spain, Brazil, Argentina, and Italy, are among coach Mark Goldin's charges.
- Thursday's match is one of four Division I opponents Cardinal Stritch will face among its first five outings this season. They opened with a loss to Valparaiso, and will face Butler on Friday.
