The Flames will return to the courts for their second match in a three day span Saturday evening.  Illinois State will visit Hinsdale Racquet Club for a 6:00 pm matchup.  It will be the return match of the home-and-home series initiated last year when the Redbirds emerged victorious at their home facility.

Flames to Watch

• Anthony Nguyen has won two of his last three singles matches, and has alternated wins and losses over his last five.
• Kasper Parlklo is on a two-match singles winning streak.
• Parlklo and Johan Hedstrom lead the team with three doubles wins.

Last Time Out

• After losing the doubles point, the Flames split the first four singles matches with Cardinal Stritch Thursday, but the Wolves won the last two singles tilts to take the match 5-2.
• Parlklo and Nguyen were singles winners for UIC.
• Hedstrom and Pelle Strandberg each won their second set to force a decisive third, but each dropped the third set in the #1 and #4 flights respectively.

Scouting the Redbirds

• Illinois State enters play with a 9-3 record.  All nine of their wins have come in their last 10 matches, including the last four in a row.
• ISU has lost only four matches in their last four outings.
• Aleksa Lazarevic has risen in the lineup, amassing a team high 11 dual match singles wins across the third through sixth spots.
• At least three Redbirds have competed in each of the six singles flights.
• Igor Kolaric and Diego le Gal Perez are the team's top doubles pair with a 4-1 record.
