UIC's homestand concludes this weekend with a Friday morning match against North Dakota and a Sunday early start against North Dakota. Friday's match has been moved to Match Point in Griffith, Ind. due to court resurfacing at XS Tennis. It will still start at the scheduled time of 11:00 am. Sunday's match is slated for 9:00 am at H-F Racquet Club in Homewood, Ill.
Northern Illinois participated alongside the Flames at the River Forest Collegiate Invitational last fall.
Pelle Strandberg picked up a singles win against a Husky.
Kasper Parlklo lost to an NIU counterpart in singles play, and
Niko Wasilewicz and
William Wale dropped a doubles set.
Sunday's match will be the first-ever meeting between UIC and North Dakota.

- Mikko Malinen and Shao-Yu Yu each have two singles wins this year.
- North Dakota is spending a busy weekend in Chicago. They will play Eastern Illinois Friday, and Chicago State Saturday, before meeting the Flames.
- Johnatan Parat and Andreja Petrovic each have one of the Hawks' two singles wins.
- Edmond Aynedjian and Jake Kuhlman have posted the team's lone doubles win.
