CHICAGO – The
UIC Flames and
Roti, Chicago's beloved fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant known for its bowls, salads, and pitas, have entered a new partnership that will make Roti a sponsor of UIC athletics competitions.
Roti is excited to support new men's head basketball coach,
Luke Yaklich, and the defensive mindset he has brought to the Flames. For every UIC home contest, Roti is offering viewers a free chicken pita from any of its Chicagoland locations if the Flames hold their opponents under 75 points. This past weekend the Flames successfully held Robert Morris under 75 points in a pair of Horizon League victories, earning free chicken pitas for Flames fans across the Chicagoland area*. In seven home games this season, UIC's opponents are averaging 65.6 points per game, with all but one opponent scoring less than 75 points*.

Roti Delivery of the Game will highlight the top assist from each UIC men's and women's basketball home game.
The deal was stewarded by 4FRONT, who has been working with UIC's athletics department for the past three years, assisting with digital marketing efforts, partnership sales, fan insights, and more.
