CHICAGO -- Credit Union 1 Arena, the primary home for two of UIC's athletic programs and an important hub of campus life, has begun hosting much more than men's and women's basketball games. During the first week of February, the arena started serving as a COVID-19 vaccination site through
UI Health with the ability to serve the Chicagoland community.
Recently, the Official Mascot of the UIC Flames,
Sparky, visited Credit Union 1 Arena to safely visit with those receiving vaccine and learn more about the great progress happening at the site. For more information and to schedule a vaccine please visit:
