UIC fell to Youngstown State, 7-0, at YSU's new indoor facility Saturday.

"We competed well," said Hans Neufeld, who shuffled his doubles lineup prior to the match.  "We look forward to the rematch tomorrow."

The Flames will search for their first win in Horizon League play in the second and final match against the Penguins on Sunday.

Doubles Results

• Casey Schrader and Artem Iermolov were first to finish, falling 6-2 at #3.
• Youngstown State won the doubles point with a 6-3 win over Anthony Nguyen and Gustavo Schwebel at #2.
• Pelle Strandberg and Luiz Dos Santos moved back into UIC's #1 doubles slot.  They trailed 5-3 when play was halted.

Singles Results

• Schrader fell by a 6-4, 6-1 score at #6.
• Iermolov was done next after a 6-3, 6-3 loss at #5.
• Schwebel also went down in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2 at #3.
• The Penguins topped Dos Santos, 6-1, 6-3, on the #4 court.
• Strandberg battled but lost, 6-3, 6-4 at #1.
• Nguyen's match at #2 was the last one to wrap up.  He was on the wrong end of a 6-4, 6-3 final.
