The UIC men's tennis team is back in action after nearly two and a half months off. The Flames are looking forward to getting back on the courts and facing some solid competition heading into the season.

The Flames' first match of the new year comes against Marquette, who is also kicking the rust off after a break. Marquette hosted Chicago State on Friday, Jan. 21, falling 4-3 to the Cougars in a closely contested dual.

UIC will look to grab some quality time on the court before the season schedule starts ramping up. Milwaukee will be a good foe for the Flames, as they both haven't played much in the early season. The Flames and Milwaukee will also be competing against a lot of the same programs throughout the season. UIC will look to get a leg up on the competition with a win.

The Flames and Golden Eagles will begin play on Sunday, Jan. 23, at 1:00 p.m.
