Three Flames won two events each in Friday night's dual meet at UChicago.
Jan Komorowski was a double winner for the men, while Taira Juronis and Cydney Liebenberg paced the women. Liebenberg set season highs on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards in winning both diving events. Juronis was part of a winning relay team in addition to taking first in both breaststroke events.
The Maroons outpointed the Flames in the men's and women's team scores, despite additional event wins by
Cole Tremewan – who picked up his first win as a Flame – and Lilly Culp, and a host of Flames posting top-four finishes throughout the meet.
The Flames will face a very fast turnaround before returning to action Saturday afternoon at Notre Dame.
