CHICAGO – The Flames Athletic Fund (FAF), the primary fundraising arm of UIC Athletics, is igniting and reimagining the UIC Letterwinners Association.

Any former student-athlete, spirit squad member, or coach qualifies to become a part of this exclusive supporter group. The group provides a platform for Flames to remain connected with each other and engaged with UIC Athletics once their collegiate careers have concluded. UIC Letterwinners will receive complimentary membership for their first year after the completion of their eligibility. The following year, membership will require a minimum gift of just $50 to the Flames Athletic Fund (FAF).The Letterwinners Association comes with a host of fantastic Flames benefits.

"We are excited to reintroduce the new UIC Letterwinners Association as a way to stay connected to those who have represented the Flames," said UIC Deputy Director of Athletics Frank M. Cuervo. "This is a great platform for teammates to stay engaged with their alma maters and support the program that means so much to them. We look forward to meeting Flames from all eras in the very near future."

Members of the UIC Letterwinners Association will receive double donation credit for all gifts made to the FAF, including and above the annual membership fee. Additionally, these supporters will receive a 20% discount on lower-level sideline season tickets for UIC men's and women's basketball games at Credit Union 1 Arena, as well as additional discounts on select single-game seats throughout the season.

UIC Letterwinners Association members will also receive a discount on Flames apparel at the UIC Bookstore, invitations to exclusive UIC Letterwinners events, a unique quarterly e-newsletter, and more.
