CHICAGO – The UIC men's tennis team is set to open up the home portion of its season this weekend, as it is set to host Omaha and Davidson at the XS Tennis Village on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
The Flames are still searching for their first dual-match victory this season, having played a challenging non-conference schedule to start the indoor season. The Flames played a tight match with Butler (3-4) to open the season before dropping matches at Western Michigan (0-7), nationally ranked Louisville (0-7), and Illinois State (1-6).
Friday's match against Omaha is slated to start at noon CT, while first serve against Davidson Saturday evening is set for 5:00 p.m. CT from the XS Tennis Village. Admission is free for spectators, and on-location parking is also available free of charge.
