CHICAGO (Nov. 8, 2023) – For the third consecutive week, the Mid-American Conference selected UIC sophomore Harrison Nolan (Riverside, Ill./Riverside Brookfield/Kentucky) as the MAC Diver of the Week, this time for his efforts in the Flames' win over Davenport on Nov. 2 at the Flames Natatorium.

COMMENT FROM UIC DIVER HARRISON NOLAN

"It feels great to be honored for the third consecutive week by the MAC. These past couple of weeks, we have been working on some new dives on both the one-meter and the three-meter springboard. We have also been getting some additional work on the platform up in Milwaukee. Going into the (IUPUI) House of Champions meet, we are all very excited to not only do the team event, but to also get up on the platform. We are all looking forward to a strong a showing from all the divers."

COMMENT FROM ASSOCIATE HEAD COACH/HEAD DIVING COACH SUSAN BROMBERG
"I'm really excited for Harrison and all the hard work he has been putting into the pool this fall. It's been awesome seeing him get these awards on a weekly basis."

The UIC sophomore continues to remain dominant in competition this season. Against Davenport, he picked up victories on the one-meter (334.88 points) and three-meter (355.50 points) boards, once again posting NCAA Zone meet qualifying scores. Nolan has now won both events in his last three meets and he has won seven of the eight events he has competed in this season.

Nolan becomes the second UIC student-athlete this year to earn three consecutive weekly conference awards, joining UIC women's golf graduate student Dasa Urbankova (Brno, Czech Republic/Menlo College) with that distinction.

UIC swimming and diving returns to competition Nov. 16-18 at IUPUI's House of Champions Invitational in Indianapolis.
