NEW ORLEANS, La. – UIC's men's tennis program (6-10, 1-0 Southland) will continue Southland Conference play on Tuesday as the Flames take on New Orleads (8-5, 1-0 Southland) in conference competition.
The Flames will head to Louisiana for a two-day road trip, making stops in New Orleans and Thibodaux. They'll take on the Privateers on Tuesday and Nicholls State (6-8, 0-2 Southland) Wednesday.
This will be the first time UIC will take on both teams in program history. New Orleans is the reigning Southland Conference champion and defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 4-3 in the conference championship. The Flames recently beat Islanders by the same final score, securing their first win as members of the Southland Conference.
On Tuesday, first serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CST at the Privateer Tennis Center. Wednesday's match is set to also start at 2:00 p.m. CST at the Thibodaux Regional Sports Complex.
