"I am honored and excited to have been selected to participate in the Executive Institute," said Wollet. "I am very fortunate to work for incredible individuals at UIC and I am very thankful for their support in this endeavor. Farrah Manthei, a previous participant in the program and UIC's Deputy Athletics Director – Chief Operating Officer and Senior Woman Administrator encouraged me to apply for this amazing opportunity. Women Leaders in College Sports value championing other women in sport and I could not be more grateful for the opportunity to attend."

Executive Institute attendees must hold positions of Senior Associate Athletics Director or higher, or a similar equivalent at a conference or national office, have a minimum of 10 years intercollegiate athletics experience and have demonstrated an ability to lead in the workplace.

Past NCAA/Women Leaders in College Sports Executive Institute graduates have experienced high advancement rates within intercollegiate athletics. According to Women Leaders in College Sports, since 2017, 63% of Executive Institute graduates have either advanced or been promoted to senior-level positions, while eleven have become athletics directors or commissioners.

"As a former participant in the NCAA/Women Leaders in College Sports Executive Institute, I had a positive leadership experience, learned invaluable skills and developed a positive and supportive network," said Farrah Manthei, UIC's Deputy Athletics Director – Chief Operating Officer and Senior Woman Administrator. "I am excited for Emily to receive the same opportunity to learn and grow her leadership abilities while developing lifelong connections."

Wollet has served as UIC's Senior Associate Athletics Director – Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer since July 2021.
