CHICAGO (Sept. 6, 2023) – The UIC Department of Athletics, in partnership with SIDEARM Sports, is proud to unveil a new design for its official website, UICFlames.com, the home for all 18 of the Flames' NCAA Division I varsity programs.
 
The updated design showcases a sleek, refreshed look, modernized features and a user-friendly navigation system to help fans, student-athletes and alumni stay up to date on UIC athletics throughout the year.
 
"We are thrilled to share the new UICFlames.com with our Flames family," said senior associate athletics director Chris Masters. "Our athletics website is an important piece of the puzzle in telling the incredible stories of our UIC teams and student-athletes and highlighting their numerous accomplishments. A special note of thanks goes out to our UIC Athletics External Operations team, which did a tremendous job collaborating with SIDEARM to bring this project to life."
 
The new UICFlames.com includes a greater focus on highlighting UIC as Chicago's College Team, with numerous motifs and imagery showcasing the home of the Flames and the nation's third-largest city.
 
Another of the more prominent changes to the website is seen at the top of the home page is the addition of a UIC athletics hype video, produced by the UIC Athletics Creative Services team. The Flames are one of the first NCAA Division I athletics programs in the nation to have a video prominently showcased atop its home page.
 
The redesigned website emphasizes a seamless user experience to allow visitors to follow the Flames no matter where they are. Those viewing the website will notice significant enhancements in the mobile and tablet displays, with a responsive design that utilizes flexible layouts and images that easily adapt to the size and orientation of each visitor's screen.
 
In addition, the new UICFlames.com features easy to access links to ticketing, schedules and the UIC Flames Shop, as well as information pertaining to name, image and likeness (NIL) and the Flames Leadership Institute.
 
Along with visiting UICFlames.com, fans can follow the Flames on social media through X (@UICFlames) and Instagram (@uicflames).
