East Lansing, Mich. (Oct. 14, 2024) UIC men's tennis is now halfway through the 2024 fall season after a busy weekend at the ITA Regional Championships in East Lansing, Mich.

The event began on Thursday, Oct. 10, and saw seven Flames compete over four days. In a highly competitive tournament featuring the best talent from the Midwest, the Flames fought hard and made significant strides as the event progressed.
Artem Alekseychuk (Alicante, Spain/Buffalo) was the last Flame standing, reaching the quarterfinals of the consolation draw on Sunday before losing 2-6, 2-6.
