Kalamazoo, Mich. (Oct. 27, 2024) The Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships wrapped up today for men's tennis, and the Flames delivered a strong performance in their fourth fall competition.
 
Several Flames performed well over the weekend with three players reaching at least the semi-finals of their respective draws. Only two Flames made the finals Eldin Nokic (Norrkoping, Sweden) who took second in Flight D in a hard-fought final match, and sophomore Mihailo Savic (Smederevska Palanka, Serbia/Sportska Gimnazija) who finished second in Flight C.

"We made it deep in almost all the draws but could not bring back a trophy. I think it's great that our freshmen had the chance to compete this fall and gain some experience so we can prepare better for what's to come in the spring. We have a great young squad and I'm looking forward to go to battle with this group of men."
