Swimming and Diving Completes Home Schedule Undefeated

Flames sweep Chicago on senior day.

CHICAGO (Jan. 18, 2025) – The UIC swimming and diving program celebrated its 12 seniors before sweeping Chicago (209-63) (180-102) in its last home meet this season, concluding the home campaign without a loss.

DIVING
 
  • Two divers made NCAA zone cuts, with Morrison qualifying in both diving events (272.48) (303.30) and Bruno Carrillo (Oak Forest, Ill./Oak Forest) making the cut on the one-meter (307.13).
  • The Flames had six divers achieve lifetime best performances with Nolan, Cole Tremewan (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) and Kathryn Kleczka (Franklin, Wis./Divine Savior Holy Angels) on the one-meter. Gabriella Richards (Saline, Mich./Saline) on the three-meter and Sami Kassir (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale Central) and Morrison had career bests on both the one-meter and three-meter.
 
UP NEXT
 
The Flames will be back in the pool next Friday and Saturday Jan. 24-25, when they travel to Missouri State.
