STILLWATER, Okla. – UIC men's and women's cross country competed at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships on Friday, hosted by Oklahoma State University. The men's team recorded a 12th-place finish in the 10,000m race—the best regional team finish in program history—while the women placed 30th overall in the 6,000m championship.

12. UIC – 12th out of 30 teams (Best finish in school history)

Top Finishers – Men

• Daniel Chavez led the Flames with a 27th-place finish in 31:01.

• Alex Bacci placed 66th in 32:25.

• Zachary Close finished 70th in 32:28.

Women's Team Results (6,000m Championship)

30. UIC – 30th out of 32 teams

Top Finishers – Women

• Isabela Garcia led UIC with a 156th-place finish in 23:05.

• Emma Dubie followed closely in 157th at 23:06.

• Indigo Sterud placed 193rd with a time of 23:41.
