CHICAGO (March 15, 2025) — UIC men's tennis delivered a dominant 6-1 home victory over Ball State at the Flames Outdoor Tennis Courts, continuing their strong season performance, particularly in match ups against conference-affiliated opponents.
Despite dropping the doubles point, the Flames bounced back with authority in singles play, sweeping six of six matches to secure the commanding team win. UIC's singles lineup displayed focus and intensity, with all five victories coming in straight sets, showcasing both skill and depth across the board.
This win marks another significant result for the Flames, who have built momentum with consistent play throughout the spring. The team has shown resilience, especially in matches where they've had to battle back after early deficits, and their ability to close out singles matches has been a key factor in their success.
With the win over Ball State, UIC continues to strengthen its standing and confidence heading into the latter half of the season, particularly as they face more conference competition in the coming weeks.
