CHICAGO - The UIC men's tennis team travels to Indianapolis, Ind. to take on the Greyhounds this Friday at 12:30 PM at UIndy Tennis Center. UIC enters competition at 0-1 while this match serves as the season opener for U Indy.
The Flames then travel to Milwaukee, Wis. to take on Marquette on Sunday at 5:00 PM at Helfaer Tennis and Recreation Center. Marquette sits at 0-2 but faces off with Xavier prior to Sunday's match with UIC. The Flames were victorious against both the Greyhounds and Golden Eagles last year and look to repeat that feat this season.
Last time out, the Flames dropped a close one, losing 4-3 to Youngstown State last Saturday. Despite the loss, there were many positives. Among them was Artem Alekseychuk. The junior had a great day winning in both doubles and singles. He will look to build off his strong performance this weekend.
