CHICAGO - The Flames are back in action on Thursday on the road, staying close to home this week in a face-off against fellow Chicagoland school Chicago State. The Cougars will enter Thursday's match at 0-3 while UIC remains 0-1.

Last time out the Flames dropped an exhibition match to UIndy. A match that despite the loss saw a strong outing from all three UIC doubles pairings, sweeping all available  doubles points against the Greyhounds. The No.1 doubles pairing of Junior Artem Alekseychuk and Sophomore Simon Knezevic won a highly competitive opening match against their Greyhounds counterparts.
