Swimming and Diving Returns to Competition with Two Away Meets

The Flames will travel to face the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The UIC swimming and diving programs open the 2026 portion of its season with four consecutive road meets. The Flames will start their road trip this weekend at the University of Evansville on Friday at 1 p.m. (CT), and the University of Southern Indiana on Saturday at 11 a.m. (CT).  


FLAMES FACTS - EVANSVILLE

  • This will be the second all-time meeting between the Flames and Aces. They last met on Jan. 14, 2023, with the women winning 190-102 and the men falling short 125-163. 
  • In their last meeting, senior Madison Helmick placed second in the 500 freestyle for the women, and senior Bruno Carrillo placed second in the three-meter diving event for the men.

FLAMES FACTS - EVANSVILLE

  • This will be the second all-time meeting for the women and third for the men between the Flames and Screaming Eagles. They last met on Jan. 14, 2025, with the women winning 200.5-85.5 and the men winning 195-98. 
  • In their last meeting, senior Bella Drake won both the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke for the women, and senior Harrison Nolan swept the diving events for the men.
