SILVIS, Ill. – The UIC women's golf team concluded its 2026 spring campaign with a top-five finish at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship, held at the par-72 TPC at Deere Run. The Flames climbed the leaderboard throughout the three-day event, ultimately securing fifth place in the 11-team field with a total score of 950 (+86).
This performance marks the program's second-best finish since joining the MVC. Notably, the Flames showed significant year-over-year growth, moving up five spots in the standings compared to their finish in last year's championship.
The team displayed steady improvement as the tournament progressed, shaving strokes off their total each day. After an opening round of 322, UIC responded with a 317 before firing their best round of the championship—a 311—on the final day to solidify their top-five standing.
Individual Highlights
The Flames' depth was on full display as three golfers secured spots in the top 25 of the individual standings.

Camille Rosier led the way for the Flames, finishing in 13th place individually.

Rosier posted a three-day total of 234 (+18) with rounds of 77, 80, and 77.

This performance marks her ninth top-20 individual finish of the spring season.

Alejandra Ereño followed closely behind, claiming 20th place with a total of 237 (+21).

Ereño anchored her performance with a solid final-round 78.

Monserrat Ramirez delivered the highlight of the final round for UIC, firing a 2-over-par 74.

Ramirez's 74 was the lowest single-round score by any Flame in the tournament.

She finished in a tie for 23rd with a total of 239.
Rounding out the scoring for the Flames were Anastassia Daudin (245, T34) and Sydney Terada (256, 47th).
