Jackson, Mich. – In its first golfing event of the 2026 fall season, UIC won Purdue Fort Wayne's Midwest Matchplay Championship at The Grande Golf Club. The Flames won two out of three matches in the four-school competition during the two-day event.

  • Freshman Rowan Pies dominated her first outing as a Flame, winning her match, 7&5
  • Fellow freshman Ava South finished her first collegiate career match with a 1 Up victory
  • Junior Alejandra Ereño won her match, 4&3
  • Junior Camille Rosier halved her match against the Screaming Eagles
• Match 2 vs. Purdue Fort Wayne (Halved)
  • Rosier won her match, 3&2
  • Pies continued her strong start to her collegiate career, winning her match, 2&1
  • Ereño and Junior Anastassia Daudin halved their matches in the second match of the day
• Match 3 vs. Detroit Mercy (Win, 5.5-.5)
  • Pies and Junior Sydney Terada both won their matches, 4&2
  • Daudin and Rosier both won their matches, 3&2
  • Ereño won her match, 3&1
  • South halved her match against the Titans
