AS A FRESHMAN (2011-2012): Placed third in the 1000 free (10:00.53) and the 200 fly (1:58.20) and came in fourth in the 500 free (4:55.12) against Wright State (10/15) ... won the 400 IM in 4:15.97 and took second in the 500 free in 4:56.35 at Eastern Illinois (10/29) ... reached a season best 4:5319 in the 500 free and 25.62 in the 50 fly and swam in the 400 IM at the TYR Invitational (11/18-20) ... finished first with his best on the season in the 1000 free with 9:57.74 and took fifth in the 200 fly (2:01.23) and fourth in the 200 back (2:06.76) against Western Illinois and Saint Louis (12/17) ... came in third in the 1650 free with 16:50.41 and fifth in the 200 fly with 2:03.25 at Green Bay (01/14) ... won the 1000 free with 9:58.38 against Valparaiso (01/20) and held third in the 100 free with 50.95 ... at the Horizon League Championships (02/22-25), set bests in the 200 IM (1:58.78), 400 IM (4:13.13) and 200 fly (1:52.95) ... had eight top-3 performances throughout the season, with three coming in first place
