2006 Highlights: Competed in the 400-, 600-, 800- and mile runs during the indoor season...took second in the 800-meter run at the Tadd Metzger/Carthage Invite on Feb. 4th with a time of 2:22.27...claimed second in the 600-meter dash at the Purdue Invite on Jan. 14th with a time of 1:40.93. Prior to UIC: Transferred from Iowa State...ran a personal outdoor-best time of 59.76 in the 400-meter run to place ninth at the ASU Invitational...raced to a personal indoor-best time of 59.41 in the 400-meter run at the Big 12 Championships in 2005...as a freshman, placed ninth overall in the 800-meter indoor run with a personal best time of 2:18.88 at the Panther Classic.

Prep/Personal: Four year letterwinner at Waubonsie Valley...two-time Upstate 8 conference champion in the 400-meter dash...captured the 800-meter run title at the Upstate 8 conference championships as a senior...two-time state qualifier in the 400-meter run...earned a berth in the 800-meter run at the state finals as a senior...served as a team captain...set school-records in the 400-meter and 800-meter run along with running a leg of the record-setting, 4x800 relay...daughter of Jerome and Betty Spearman...born July 10, 1985...major is architecture.
