AS A SENIOR (2018-19): Horizon League All-Academic Team...Took sixth place in the 50 free to open the season against Indiana State...was a mainstay in UIC's lineup in the 50 free...peaked with a third place finish against Oakland, and took fourth against Milwaukee...had top-eight finishes in the sprint in each of the last two meets of the regular season...made select appearances in the 100 and 200 free as well...was sixth in the 100 in the Olivet Nazarene-Butler triad...improved her 200 time in each successive race...swam the 50, 100, and 200 at the Horizon League Championships, setting season bests in the latter two.

AS A JUNIOR (2017-18): Placed third in the 50 free (:25.03) and sixth in the 100 free (:55.62) against Indiana State...was on the winning 200 free relay team...took fourth in the 50 and eighth in the 100, while moving into the second leg of the B-400 free relay team, where she would swim in every meet the rest of the season...had top-10 finishes in both freestyle sprints against Rutgers, Northwestern, and Chicago...matched her season best times in both races against Milwaukee, finishing fifth in the 50 and seventh in the 100...placed in the final heat of both sprints against Oakland...added the 200 free and 50 fly at the TYR Invitational...swam both freestyle sprints on both days of the Cleveland State/IUPUI meet, posting weekend-best times of :25.29 in the 50 and :55.33 in the 100...swam the 50, 100, and 200 free at the Horizon League Championships.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Placed fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:49.05), seventh in the 50 free (24.89), eighth in the 400 free relay (3:44.79) and tenth in the 100 free (55.26) at the triple dual meet with Olivet-Nazarene, Northwestern and the University of Chicago (Oct. 22)…was victorious in the 200 free relay (1:38.65) and earned a couple of second place finishes in the 200 medley relay (1:49.19) and the 50 free (24.58) against Boston College (Oct. 28)…grabbed second place in the 200 free relay (1:37.97), third in the 200 medley relay (1:40.20), fourth in the 400 free relay (3:35.23), sixth in the 50 free (24.99), seventh in the 400 medley relay (4:02.32) and eighth in the 100 free (55.07) versus Oakland, Green Bay and Wright State (Nov. 4-5)…took third in the 400 free relay (3:43.24), fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:51.31), sixth in the 50 free (25.12) and seventh in the 100 free (55.13) at Milwaukee (Nov. 12)…earned eighth place in the 200 medley relay (1:45.54), ninth in the 200 free relay (1:36.17) and finished in thirty-fourth place in both the 200 free (1:56.83) and the 100 free (53.56) at Northwestern’s annual TYR Invitational (Nov. 18-20)…captured first place in the 200 free relay (1:37.29), fifth in the 200 free (1:59.96) and eighth in the 100 free (54.92) against Cleveland State (Jan. 14)…notched a couple of second place finishes in both the 200 free relay (1:36.69) and the 400 free relay (3:33.31), finished fourth in the 800 free relay (8:02.20), took sixth in the 200 medley relay (1:50.57), seventh in the 50 free (24.82) and finished ninth in the 200 free (1:59.99) at the Flames Invitational versus Milwaukee and Olivet-Nazarene (Jan. 20-21)…claimed fifth place in the 200 free relay (1:34.68), fifteenth in the 50 free (24.00) and took twentieth place in the 200 free (1:56.29) at the Horizon League Championships (Feb. 22-25).

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16): Finished first in the 200 free relay (1:38.73) and third in the 50 free (24.89) against Olivet Nazarene (Oct. 30) … grabbed fifth place in the 100 free (54.82) versus Milwaukee (Nov. 7) … captured seventh in the 50 free (25.05) in a double dual meet against Oakland and Wright State … placed second in the 50 free (25.07) at Green Bay (Dec. 12) … took fourth place in the 50 free (25.03) at Cleveland State … finished 22nd in the 200 free (1:58.20) at the Horizon League Championships (Feb. 24-27).

PREP/PERSONAL: Qualified for state in the 100 free as a senior...named team captain as a senior...earned All-Conference honors all four years...was also in the marching band...daughter of Karla and Eduardo Cabrera...majoring in mechanical engineering.
