2005-06: Placed second in the 100-yard butterfly against Eastern Illinois with a 1:02.54...swam a 1:02.12, good for third, in the 100 fly at UW-Milwaukee. Prep/Personal: Four-year letterwinner as a sprint specialist for Ottawa Township...state qualifier in the 50 free and the 100 free in 2004...led Pirates in six events and set five individual school records...prep career bests included a 24.77 in the 50 free, a 53.73 in the 100 free and a 1:01.3 in the 100 fly...also part of three relay records at Ottawa Township...swam for the Streator YMCA Stingrays for eight years...qualified for the YMCA Nationals twice in the 50 and 100 free events...lettered three years as a sprinter on the track and field team at Ottawa...qualified for the state track and field championships in the 4x400 meter relay as a senior...also lettered four years on the cheerleading squad...born March 23, 1987...daughter of Rich and Kyla Mennecke...majoring in civil engineering.
