AS A SENIOR (2017-18): Horizon League All-Academic Team selection...Began the season with top-8 finishes in the 100 breast (1:03.06) and 200 breast (2:21.22) against Green Bay and Valparaiso...improved his times in both races against Northwestern and Chicago...joined the 400 free relay and 200 medley relay teams...a double seventh place finisher in the 100 and 200 breast, again dropping his times in both races against Milwaukee...placed seventh in the 100 and sixth in the 200 against Oakland...was in the top 30 in both breaststroke races, and competed in the 50 free and 50 breast in the TYR Invitational...swam the 100 and 200 breast on both days of the Cleveland State and IUPUI meet...improved both times from day 1 to day 2.

AS A JUNIOR (2016-17): Finished eleventh in the 200 breast (2:19.68) at the triple dual meet against University of Chicago, Northwestern and Olivet-Nazarene (Oct. 22)…placed fourth in the 200 medley relay (1:37.30) and sixth in both the 100 breast (1:03.16) and the 200 breast (2:19.02) against Boston College (Oct. 28)…grabbed ninth in the 200 free relay (1:29.83) and the 200 breast (2:15.96), took tenth in the 400 medley relay (3:36.27) and the 200 medley relay (1:39.54) and twelfth in the 100 breast (1:02.97) at the quadruple dual meet against Oakland, Green Bay and Wright State (Nov. 4-5)…placed twenty-second in the 200 breast prelims (2:16.08) and twenty-fourth in the 100 breast prelims (1:04.34) at Northwestern’s TYR Invitational (Nov. 18-20)…captured fifth in both the 400 medley relay (3:35.39) and the 200 breast (2:16.29) and finished seventh in the 100 breast (1:02.64) versus Cleveland State (Jan. 14)…earned seventh in the 200 medley relay (1:38.79) and seventh in the 100 breast (1:02.06), sixth in the 200 breast (2:17.54) and ninth in the 200 free relay (1:31.67) at the Flames Invitational (Jan. 20-21)…finished twentieth in both the 200 breast prelims (2:12.39) and the 100 breast prelims (1:00.69) at the Horizon League Championships (Feb. 22-25).

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16):  Finished 10th in the 100 breast (1:02.83) at a triple dual meet against University of Chicago, Northwestern and Denison (Oct. 24) ... placed sixth in the 200 breast (2:21.58) against Olivet Nazarene (Oct. 30) ... grabbed 10th place in the 200 breast (2:22.66) at a double dual meet against Oakland and Wright State (Nov. 14) ... captured seventh place in the 200 breast (2:24.20) and eighth in the 100 breast (1:04.93) at Green Bay (Dec. 12) ... claimed seventh place in the 100 breast (1:03.01) and eighth in the 200 breast (2:23.23) at Cleveland State (Jan. 15) ... collected fifth place in the 200 IM (2:24.95) versus Olivet Nazarene (Jan. 23).

PREP/PERSONAL: Member of conference championship team, and individual All-Conference selection, at Niles North High School...qualified for the state tournament...team captain as a senior...son of Ivan Kirilov and Boyka Kirilova...majoring in computer science.
