AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17): Placed fourth in the 200 IM (1:56.89), sixth in the 200 fly (1:56.50), seventh in the 200 medley relay (1:37.78) and eighth in the 200 back (2:16.36) at the triple dual with Olivet-Nazarene, Northwestern and the University of Chicago (Oct. 22)…earned a couple of second place finishes in the 200 fly (51.23) and the 200 IM (1:55.38), took third in the 200 fly (1:55.10) and fourth in the 200 medley relay (1:37.30) against Boston College (Oct. 28)…grabbed third place in both the 200 IM (1:54.98) and the 200 fly (1:55.94), fourth in the 100 fly (51.50) and tenth in the 400 medley relay (3:36.27) versus Oakland, Green Bay and Wright State (Nov. 4-5)…was victorious in the 200 IM (1:55.71), took second in the 200 fly (1:55.66) and the 200 medley relay (1:38.30) and finished in the fifth in the 500 free (4:54.61) at Milwaukee (Nov. 12)…notched an eleventh place finish in the 800 free relay (6:58.35), twelfth in the 400 free relay (3:08.29), earned a couple of seventeenth place finishes in both the 200 IM (1:52.85) and the 400 IM (4:03.56), took eighteenth in the 200 fly (1:53.59) and finished in twentieth place in the 100 fly (50.83) at Northwestern’s annual TYR Invitational (Nov. 18-20).

PREP AND PERSONAL: Four-year letterwinner at Tigard (Ore.) ... part of the relay team that won districts and placed third at state ... broke two district records and two school records as a member of the 200 free and 400 free relay teams ... state finalist all four years of competition ... set pool records at Tigard in the 200 IM and 200 free ... earned Most Valuable Swimmer all four years ... three-time Scholastic All-American ... son of Jeff and Pamela Miller ... currently enrolled as an Industrial Design major.
