AS A SENIOR (2017-18): Horizon League All-Academic Team selection...took second in both the 100 fly (:59.00) and 200 fly (2:12.21) at the season opener against Indiana State...swam the fly leg of the first place 400 medley relay team...took second in the 100 fly again, and fourth in the 200 fly, against Green Bay and Valparaiso...helped the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay teams to third place finishes...was top-8 in both fly races against Northwestern, Rutgers, and Chicago...won the 100 fly (:58.35) and took third in the 200 fly (2:12.32) against Milwaukee...took third in both races against Oakland...added the 50 free, 50 fly, and 100 back to her docket at the TYR Invitational...won the 100 fly (:58.30) and took fourth in the 200 fly on day 1 at Cleveland State...swam the 100 back again on day 2...made the championship final of the 100 fly, where she placed eighth (:56.18) at the Horizon League Championships...also swam the 50 free, 100 back, and 200 fly.
AS A JUNIOR (2016-17): Captured third place in the third 400 free relay (3:36.15), eighth in the 100 fly (1:00.05) and tenth in the 200 fly (2:16.34) in the triple dual meet with Olivet-Nazarene, Northwestern and the University of Chicago (Oct. 22)…took second in the 200 medley relay (1:49.19), third in the 200 free relay (1:40.53) and sixth in the 200 fly (2:16.98) versus Boston College (Oct. 28)…grabbed sixth place in the 200 medley relay (1:42.87), seventh in the 400 medley relay (4:02.32), eighth in the 200 free relay (1:41.50) and ninth in the 100 fly (1:00.06) against Oakland, Wright State and Green Bay (Nov. 4-5)…earned third place in the 100 fly (59.97) and the 400 free relay (3:43.24), fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:51.31) and seventh in the 200 fly (2:16.08) at Milwaukee (Nov. 12)…claimed third place in the 200 free relay (1:40.29) and the 400 medley relay (4:01.43), and took fourth in the 200 fly (2:12.94) and the 100 fly (59.29) against Cleveland State on Jan. 14…placed fourth in both the 400 free relay (3:38.43) and the 100 fly (59.19), fifth in the 200 free relay (1:40.26), and sixth in both the 400 medley relay (4:00.64) and the 200 medley relay (1:50.57) at the Flames Invitational (Jan. 20-21)…notched an eleventh place finish in the 100 fly (57.44) and the 50 fly (25.95) at Northwestern’s TYR Invitational (Nov. 18-20)…placed fifth in the 400 medley relay (3:45.91), sixth in the 100 fly (56.21) and finished twelfth in the 200 fly (2:06.79) at the Horizon League Championships (Feb. 22-25).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16): Captured fifth place in the 200 fly (2:21.03) against Olivet Nazarene (Oct. 30) … Placed fifth in the 200 fly (2:19.99) versus Milwaukee (Nov. 7) … finished fourth in the 100 fly (58.18) at a double dual meet against Oakland and Wright State (Nov. 14) … took third place in the 50 fly (25.15) and fifth in the 100 fly (56.21) at the TYR Invitational (Nov. 20-22) … grabbed second place in the 100 fly (58.80 at Green Bay (Dec. 12) … finished third in the 100 fly (59.78) at Cleveland State (Jan. 15) … claimed fourth place in the 50 free (26.04) versus Olivet Nazarene (Jan. 23) … placed eighth in the 100 fly (56.47) at the Horizon League Championships (Feb. 24-27).
AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15): Came in fourth in the 200 medley relay (1:54.10), second in the 200 (2:13.46) and first in the 100 fly (59.18) versus Wright State (Oct. 11) ... finished fourth in the 400 free relay (3:44.05) against Northwestern and Oakland (Oct. 25) ... placed second in the 100 fly (59.48) versus Milwaukee (Nov. 8) ... claimed third in the 200 medley relay (1:52.87), in the 200 fly (2:12.80) and in the 400 free relay (3:41.43) versus Olivet Nazarene (Nov. 14) ... a time of 56.22 in the 100 fly at the TYR Invite (Nov. 23) led to a third place spot in the Horizon League regular season standings ... earned second in the 200 medley relay (1:48.99) and in the 100 fly (59.01) against Green Bay (Jan. 10) ... took home third in the 100 back (1:01.94) versus Valparaiso (Jan. 17) ... came in fourth in the 200 medley relay (1:54.49) and in the 200 fly (2:15.04), tied for second in the 100 fly (58.88) and third in the 400 free relay (3:44.75) against Youngstown (Jan. 23) ... finished first in the 200 medley relay (1:48.83) and fifth in the 100 back (1:02.40) versus Cleveland State (Feb. 6) ... collected a fifth place finish in the 100 fly (56.37) and 16th place in the 100 back (1:00.35) at the Horizon League Championship (Feb. 25-28).
PREP/PERSONAL: Was All-Conference her junior and senior years...qualified for state in multiple individual events her final two years...daughter of Alesia and Anthony Savegnago...comes from a very athletic family that includes a national champion wrestler and a former UIC track and field athlete...Currently enrolled as an industrial design major.
