AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-18): Competed in all eight meets on the pommel horse and vault, with five appearances each on the parallel bars and rings...completed the all-around twice, against Nebraska and Springfield...set a season high on the vault of 14.000 on Feb. 18, tying for third; and posted a season best 12.250 on rings that day too...scored just below his season high at 13.900 on vault in two of the last three meets of the season, including the ECAC Championships...was second on the team in vault season average...landed his season high, 12.450, on horse at the ECAC Championships...had season highs on floor (12.350) and p-bars (12.050) on Feb. 10.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17): Primarily competed on vault for the Flames, but he also saw action on floor, rings and high bar…was awarded ECAC Rookie of the Week (March 14) after notching a first place finish, and a season best score of 14.150 on vault versus Air Force (March 12)…tallied a 12.150 on floor at the Midwest Open hosted by Aerial Gymnastics (March 4)…earned a score of 11.800 on rings and a 10.950 on high bar against Ohio State early in the season (Jan. 20)..stuck a 14.100 on vault finishing in fourth place at the Conference Championships (April 8).

PREP AND PERSONAL: 2016 National runner-up on vault…State qualifier in pole vault representing the Chagrin Falls Tigers... Lettered three years…son of Victor and Maridee Bello…has one sibling, Vincent… intends to major in Earth and Environmental Sciences.
