AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-18): One of UIC's most consistent performers, Hudson competed in five events in two meets and completed the all-around in the remaining six...improved his scores in all six events from the first meet of the season to the second...was named ECAC Gymnast of the Week after totaling a 72.450 all-around score...in week 3, posted season high on the pommel horse (12.450; fourth) and scored 74.000 (first) in the all-around...his 13.200 on floor (fourth) and 12.100 on high bar at Springfield were season highs...also took third on rings with a 13.150...scored 12.350 to set a season high on p-bars against Minnesota...notched a season best 13.200 on rings in the regular season finale...had season highs on vault (13.750) and all-around (74.950; seventh) at the ECAC Championships...was the first alternate in the all-around for the NCAA meet.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17): Hudson consistently represented the Flames on floor and vault, but also saw action on pommel horse, rings and parallel bars…notched a season best score of 13.250 on floor against Iowa early in the season (Jan. 22)...captured career high of 13.450 on vault at the ECAC Championships on April 8…achieved a personal best on rings (12.550) against Nebraska on Feb.26, followed by another personal record on parallel bars (12.500) at the Midwest Open (March 4)…hit an 11.500 on pommel horse earlier in the season versus Ohio State on Jan. 20. 
 
PREP AND PERSONAL: 2016 Sectional Champion in the all-around, on the rings, and on vault… 2016 Champion on rings and vault… medaled second in the all-around and fifth on high bar at the 2016 State Championships… 2013 State qualifier and vault finalist (sixth place)…lettered three years at Dundee-Crown High School…enjoys playing piano...son of Don and Brittany Hudson…has three siblings, Omar, Mila and Hadley…plans to major in Business Management.
