AS A SENIOR (2018-19): Placed sixth in the 100 breast against Michigan State in the season opener...took sixth in the 200 breast against Northwestern and Chicago...won the 100 breast against Olivet Nazarene...claimed fourth in the 100 breast against Oakland...repeated that placement against Milwaukee...qualified for finals in three breaststroke races (50, 100, and 200) at the TYR Invitational...was a top-eight finisher in the 100 and 200 breast against Cleveland State and IUPUI...was eighth in the 200 breast and fourth in the 100 breast to close his season against Green Bay.

AS A JUNIOR (2017-18): Had top-8 finishes in the 100 breast (1:02.47) and 200 breast (2:20.70) to open the season against Green Bay and Valparaiso, and helped the 200 medley relay team finish second...improved his 100 breast time by two tenths against Northwestern and Chicago...took eighth in both breaststroke races against Milwaukee...slotted into the first place 400 medley team and the third place 400 free relay team against the Panthers...was sixth in the 100 breast (1:02.55) and seventh in the 200 breast (2:22.33) against Oakland...broke one minute for the first time of the season in the 100 breast at the TYR Invitational...also set a then-season low time (2:14.51) in the 200 breast...competed in the 50 free, 100 breast, and 200 IM at the Horizon League Championships.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Placed ninth in the 400 free relay (3:16.92) and fourteenth in both the 100 breast (1:03.17) and the 100 free (49.64) at the triple dual meet with Olivet-Nazarene, Northwestern and the University of Chicago (Oct. 22)…notched a third place finish in the 200 free relay (1:27.29), sixth place in the 100 free (49.09) and seventh place in the 100 breast (1:03.49) against Boston College (Oct. 28)…took seventh place in the 200 free relay (1:27.60), eleventh place in the 100 breast (1:02.33), twelfth in the 100 IM (56.19) and earned a trio of thirteenth place finishes in the 50 free (22.27), 200 medley relay (1:41.35) and the 200 breast (2:19.76) versus Oakland, Wright State and Green Bay (Nov. 4-5)…claimed a third place finish in the 400 free relay (3:12.96), fourth in both the 100 breast (1:02.37) and the 200 breast (2:18.44) and finished seventh in the 100 free (49.78) at Milwaukee (Nov. 12)…earned fourteenth in the 200 medley relay (1:35.81), fifteenth in the 400 medley relay (3:31.32) and eighteenth in the 100 breast (1:00.00) at Northwestern’s annual TYR Invitational (Nov. 18-20)…placed fourth in the 200 free relay (1:27.20) and fifth in the 100 breast (1:01.44) against Cleveland State (Jan. 14)…was victorious in the 200 medley relay (1:33.45), grabbed third place in the 400 free relay (3:11.13), fourth in the 200 free relay (1:26.74), fifth in the 100 breast (1:01.69) and sixth in the 400 medley relay (3:33.20) at the Flames Invitational (Jan. 20-21)…captured third place in the 200 medley relay (1:29.78), eighteenth in the 100 breast (58.44) and finished nineteenth in the 200 breast (2:11.26) at the Horizon League Championships (Feb. 22-25).

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16): Finished fourth in the 100 free (49.27) and 50 free (22.42) versus Milwaukee (Nov. 7) … placed sixth in the 100 free (49.63) and 50 free (22.55) at Green Bay (Dec. 12) … notched sixth place in 50 free (22.31) at Cleveland State (Jan. 15) … placed 22nd in the 100 free (47.37) at the Horizon League Championships (Feb. 24-27).

PREP/PERSONAL: Member of four-time conference champion and two-time sectional champion swim team at Amos Alonzo Stagg High School...was the conference champion in the 50 and 100 free all four years, and won sectionals in both events twice...set the team record in the 50 free...also played water polo all four years...was an All-State, All-Sectional, and All-Conference player in both swimming and water polo...son of Brad and Lorena Johnson...majoring in chemical engineering.
