AS A FRESHMAN (2019): NCAA Qualifier, Floor...Scored over 13 points on floor for the first time against Springfield and Penn State, and would post a score above 13.000 in every meet thereafter...had the Flames' highest floor score in the Cal-Oklahoma tri-meet...led the Flames on vault, and placed sixth overall, against Minnesota and Nebraska...also had UIC's best vault at the Windy City Invitational, in the season opener at Illinois against Cal and Oklahoma, and at Michigan...tied for seventh in the ECAC on floor and was 12th in vault...scored 13.400 on floor at the NCAA Championships.

PREP/PERSONAL: Was a three-time state champion on the floor and vault at Hardin Valley Academy...won the regional vault championship, and went on to place 6th in the nation on vault and 7th on floor...stuck every pass on his floor routine at regionals, which he lists as his biggest athletic thrill prior to UIC...was an academic All-American...cites the floor exercise as his favorite event...son of Theresa Booth...majoring in kinesiology.
