AS A FRESHMAN (2019-20): Made his Flames debut against Northwestern, placing in the top five in the 100 and 200 breast and 200 IM...had two more top-five finishes in the 100 breast and 200 IM against Michigan State...was third in the 100 breast and fourth in the 200 breast, in a then-season best time, against Oakland...won both breaststroke races against Milwaukee, and added a second place swim in the 200 IM...set then-season bests in three events, and placed in the top 14 in the 100 and 200 breast, at the House of Champions...had three top-three breaststroke swims in the two-day meet with Cleveland State and IUPUI...took third in the 200 breast against Green Bay...finished the regular season with another breaststroke sweep against UChicago and Wabash...took sixth in the 100 breast at the Horizon League Championships...won the consolation final and finished ninth overall in the 200 breast...qualified for the US Open in the 100 and 200 breast...swam the breaststroke leg of the medley relay in every meet of the season...part of the 200 medley relay team that broke the school record (1:28.56) at the conference championships.

PREP/PERSONAL: Helped lead Muskego to four state appearances and two sectional runner-up finishes...was the conference champion and four-time sectional champ in 100 breast...won the 100 breast state title..two-time team captain...set school records in the 200 IM and 100 breast, as well as 200 medley and 400 free relays...also on his high school's golf team...son of Tricia and Mike Gabbey...majoring in Nursing.
