AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21): Won the 50 free in the season opener against Milwaukee...was third in the 50 free and second in the 100 back against Cleveland State...came in fifth in the 50 free and the 100 back against Oakland...won the 100 back, and was fourth in the 200 back, against Milwaukee to close the regular season...came in 11th in the 50 free, and 10th in the 100 back, at the Horizon League Championships...led off the medley relay in every meet, helping the Flames win the event against Cleveland State and Milwaukee...also part of the 200 free relay team that won against Cleveland State and Milwaukee, and was third at conference, as well as the 400 free relay team that also took third at conference.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019-20): Finished seventh in both the 50 free and 100 free at Northwestern...came in third in the 100 back against Michigan State...finished fifth in the 100 free and sixth in the 100 back against Oakland...was second in the 100 back and fifth in the 100 free against Milwaukee...came in 10th in the 100 back at the House of Champions...also qualified for finals in the 50 free...won the 50 back, was third in the 100 back twice, and was fifth in the 100 free in the two-day meet with Cleveland State and IUPUI...won the 100 back and came in sixth in the 100 free against Green Bay...took fifth in the 50 free and sixth in the 100 back against UChicago and Wabash...made the consolation finals, finishing ninth, in the 100 back at the Horizon League Championships...also swam the 50 and 100 free...a regular member of the 200 and 400 free and 200 medley relay teams.
PREP/PERSONAL: Helped lead Lincoln-Way East to four sectional championships, four state appearances, and the 2017 conference title...was a four-time All-Conference and All-Sectional swimmer...was the conference Athlete of the Year in 2018...an Illinois State Scholar...Team MVP as a junior and senior...set school records in 50 and 100 free, 100 back, and two relays...also played water polo...team captain in swimming and water polo...highest GPA on the swim team as a junior and senior...son of Susan and Patrick Wyma...majoring in Structural Engineering.
